I've seen it in so many people I know ...
you become atas .... you become used to the easy money and high
life, you start turning your nose up at hawker centres .... you
start thinking you're cooler and more sophisticated than anyone
else .... you start reading cosmopolitian and your english becomes
"forced" ... you start talking about how LV in paris is cheaper
than in Singapore, or that you actually prefer belgium chocs to
swiss ones .... you start air-kissing your friends ..... you look
at your decent, honest, hardworking heartlander boyfriend and
think, what am i doing with this chap, we have to take the MRT when
we go out ! ....
same for pilots..
especially f16 pilots.. all of em walk with a swagger and show
those kinda xialan face.
